Nia and Sean's peaceful morning beneath the trees of Savannah, Georgia
Nia and Sean were highschool sweethearts that I had the pleasure of knowing since our high school days in metro-Atlanta. On a quit morning in Savannah, four hours away from where we grew up, we went out and met on Jones street to search for the iconic oak trees this little city is known for.
Our day started at dawn where we quietly walked along the historic buildings. We spent time casually catching up from our decade apart, taking photos, and learning about each other's fur babies. It warmed my heart to know that just a few years ago, I watched their love sprout in the classroom we sat in, before I even realized my own love for photography, people-watching, storytelling, and everything that is my life now.
Moments like these are what I love most about my job; reconnecting with old friends and watching their love through the lens of our camera. Here are some of my favorites from the day.
